SUMMARY
Versitle artist/educator with twenty years of professional experience in
higher education and thirty years experience as an artist and illustrator.
Fifteen years of digital media and design experience includes a thorough
knowledge of Macintosh compatible hardware and experience with software including; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Freeway, IMovie and Cleaner.

M.F.A. in Painting, 1987, Hoffberger School Of Painting, Marytland Institute College of Art.
B.S. Studio Arts, 1984, Towson State University, Magna Cum Laude.

TEACHING
Towson University, 1998 - 2009, Associate Professor
ASSISTANT CHAIR: 2002 - 2009, Assisted in coordination of faculty schedules,
registration and permit processes, adjunct hiring for General Education courses,
technology initiatives as well as ciurriculum initiatives. Duties have also included
assisting with budgetary issues, workload issues and faculty mentoring. In addition,the position included being point person and surge coorcinator for several years while a major renovation of the Center for the Arts took place.
DIGITAL ART AND DESIGN COORDINATOR: Began Art track and have coordianted
since 2006. Courses taught include Design I, Intro. to Computer media, Motion
Design, Digital Design, Digital Art I, II and III, Multimedia, Illustration, Senoir Project and grad independent study. Software utilized includes Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, In Design, Quark, Cleaner, Imageready, Fireworks, Premiere, and IMovie. Responsibilities also include technology research, curriculum development and hiring of adjunct faculty in digital media courses. Coordinator of Computer Art track.
M.F.A. IN STUDIO ART PROGRAM DIRECTOR: 1996 - 2004, Administration of 20 - 25
students. Duties for Program Director include; advising MFA students and applicants, coordinating application reviews, coordinating student reviews,
recruitment, coordinating MFA student meetings/activities, chairing MFA
committee, administrating graduate assistantships and teaching MFA Seminar.
One course assigned time per semester.

Towson University, 1997 - 1998, Visiting Assistant Professor
GRAPHIC DESIGN, COMPUTER GRAPHICS: Sixteen contact hours on load. Three
courses taught off load. Courses include Computer Graphics I, II and grad.
Responsibilities include research and curriculum development.
SERVICE: MFA Program Director (1 course assigned time), co-coordinated
Foundations and Painting, advised Graphic Design and Painting majors, served
on departmental and college committees, assisted in hiring, orientation and
scheduling of adjunct faculty.

Towson State University, 1996 - 1997, Full-time Lecturer
FOUNDATIONS, PAINTING: Six course load, 6 courses taught off load.
SERVICE: MFA Program Director, developed Post-Bacc Program, departmental
committees, advisor to painting majors, foundations coordinator, search
committee and served on graduate studies committee.

FOUNDATIONS, PAINTING: Approx. 8 courses per year taught, 32 contact hours.
All levels of drawing, painting and watercolor as well as non art major courses.
Also taught 2-D Design, Seminar in Contemporary Art History, Graduate Seminar
in Art History, additional credit hours in UG and G independent study.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Curriculum development, foundations assessment,
